You probably won't be able to travel Madrid's nightlife without hearing of Kapital. Madrid has lots to choose from as far as nightlife goes, and Kapital is known as one of the hottest clubs in the city. Popular for its dj's, lights, shows, and seven dance floors, this venue will consume your whole night.
Set in what used to be an old theatre is now Kapital, Madrid’s top-rated club.
Each floor specializes in a certain genre of music and dancing, so a night out at Kapital Madrid is almost like going to seven different clubs. You will likely be dancing to popular radio hits, salsa, electro, or trance music. There is music to appeal to a wide crowd.
The main dance floor is on the first level. Here you will find three bars, a spectacular light show, and a hyped up crowd dancing to techno. For a more low-key night, travel up to the second floor where you can enjoy the karaoke lounge or up to the third, where you can groove to hip-hop and R&B beats.
The fourth floor houses the DJ box and an escape for folks who need a break. The fifth floor features greatest hits and revivals and an excited crowd who re-visit the two bars there.
The sixth floor is a mellower atmosphere and the seventh welcomes visitor to the rooftop terrace and a calmer place to socialize and drink.
Throughout the night, there are also multiple stage performances that seem to be well liked. Also a perk of Kapital, Madrid is its frequented air mists that cool off the crowd and travel up all seven floors.
The few complaints surfacing about Kapital Madrid are its high fare for drinks, its cover charge, and its staff. It can cost 18 euros to get in and 6 euros for a drink. The bar doesn’t accept cash, so you have to pay for your drinks with a ticket you buy that is in a separate room from the bar. Also, some visitors have commented on problems getting into the bar, as the bouncers are sometimes picky and the staff is reported to sometimes be rude or arrogant.
Kapital in Madrid appeals to a pretty specific age demographic. Most visitors are between ages 18-30. It is known as a good club to meet other travelers and tourists, and it is always packed with people. But there is not only one type of club-goer at this spot. The different atmospheres and music genre attract a very wide crowd.
